Alok Petrillo is in Brazilië al een grote naam en wordt door het blad House DJ in 2014 al onderscheiden als beste dj. In 2015 duikt zijn naam voor het eerst op in de DJ Mag Top 100, waar hij de 44e plaats weet in te nemen. Een jaar later klimt hij door naar de 25e plaats, mede dankzij een platendeal bij Spinnin’ Records en verschillende optredens die hem in alle hoeken van de wereld hebben gebracht.

Met Hear Me Now, de track die hij met Bruno Martini en Alok maakt, gaat hij in 2017 de rest van de wereld over. Radio 538 roept dat nummer in februari uit tot Dance Smash. De samenwerking tussen de drie krijgt in april een vervolg via Never Let Me Go.

Hij is de oprichter van UP Club Records , een platenlabel dat gespecialiseerd is in het ontdekken van nieuw talent in elektronische muziek.
In 2022 verschijnt zijn album genaamd Controversia By Alok Vol.006. In juli 2022 werkt hij samen met Ella Eyre, Kenny Dope en Never Dull aan de single Deep Down. Begin oktober levert zijn samenwerking met Sigala en Ellie Goulding de single All By Myself op. Aan het begin van 2023 dropt hij samen met James Arthur de single Work With My Love.
