Haar debuutsingle Video Games afkomstig van het album Born To Die bracht ze uit op YouTube uit en binnen een maand had ze 1 miljoen hits. Haar muziek valt onder de noemer Indie, Alternatief en Sad Core.
Het liedje gaat over een meisje dat troost vindt in de kleine dingen van het leven, zoals haar vriendje dat een videogame speelt. Inmiddels staat de teller bij YouTube op bijna 136 miljoen hits.
Lana heeft de videoclip zelf in elkaar gezet met diverse filmpjes. Het toeval wil dat ze hierbij ook een filmpje heeft gebruikt dat afkomstig is van Nederlandse jongeren, waardoor de videoclip een Nederlands tintje krijgt.
